I've been working on a 5'x3' commission for a friend in Seattle. His direction was that he wanted to be wrapped in color. He has experiened this while hiking and stumbling on a field of wild flowers. I painted the Meadow Study to see if it was in the ballpark of what he wanted for his piece. After getting some feedback, I drove right in with the sky and mountains. Next I finished the middle and foreground of wild flowers. I have to paint the boarders, dedicate and sign it. I can't wait to show him his new piece in the next few weeks.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
